Firum
Firum is a limited company, owned by the Faroese government that conducts aquaculture related research and development and advices government and industry on matters related to aquaculture and coastal areas. Our vision is “Knowledge for Sustainable Aquaculture”, and important research subjects are, sustainable utilization of the fjords, land-based aquaculture, lice and infection, fish welfare, and new possibilities for production.
